Candidates can retake their Knowledge Exam a total of three times. After the first failed attempt, candidates have a mandatory 45 day waiting period, and after the second failed attempt, candidates have a mandatory 90 day waiting period. If a candidate does not pass the Microsoft MCM exam after the third try, they must retake the entire required training course in order to take the MCM exam an additional time.

KB xams, candidates can take the Qualification Lab Exam exams a total of three times before they are required to retake the mandatory training session.
